Collect for the Twenty-third Sunday After Pentecost

All loving and merciful God, it is only by your gift that your faithful people offer you true and laudable service: Grant that we may run without stumbling to obtain your heavenly promises; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Collect for the Twenty-second Sunday After Pentecost

All loving and everlasting God, increase in us the gifts of faith, hope, and love; and, that we may obtain what you promise, help us to love what you command; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Grand Evening

Last night, Mahina and I got to spend some quality time with some dear friends that we haven’t seen in quite awhile. The sad thing is that we have all been so busy that those moments are infinitely more important than all of the ‘busy work’ combined. Sadder still is that they live just down the street from us! There was plenty of food and drink for all and we just hung out, watched some college football and just got to be together! That for me, was the best part. Just laughing and talking and listening and just basking in the presence of some of the finest people that God has ever been so merciful to put in our lives. I thank God for each and every one of you. ~~~ In the Love of the Three in One, Jack+, LC

Collect for the Twenty-first Sunday After Pentecost

All loving and everlasting God, in Christ you have revealed your glory among the nations: Preserve the works of your mercy, that your Churches throughout the world may persevere with steadfast faith in the confession of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Collect for the Twentieth Sunday After Pentecost

O God, we pray that your grace may always precede and follow us, that we may continually be given to good works; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Collect for the Nineteenth Sunday After Pentecost

All loving and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve: Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
